Director of Broadcasting

The Director of Broadcasting serves as a liaison between Atlanta Public Schools (APS) and Atlanta Educational Telecommunications Collaborative, Inc. (AETC), which is responsible for managing the district’s broadcast assets, which include WABE, WPBA, Cable Channel 22, the PBA website and the LENS Project. The successful candidate will work with AETC management to produce programming for the district's cable station and will assist with administering the management agreement. The APS Director of Broadcasting understands the operational activities of the management company as they relate to compliance with all FCC, PBS, NPR and CPB regulations, rules and mandates.
