Job Description:
The Incumbent is responsible for coordinating the administrative and clerical work for the Department including all expenditures for the department deposits made to Cash Operations and WRTI. Assist director with the administration of department budget and investigate problems with budget lines. Maintain Cost Summary reports. Schedule meetings for director and other department members, travel arrangements and notify personnel involved. Supervise and monitor all telephone answering behavior in the department office - including procedures for message taking and distribution in a professional and competent manner. Manage 1 to 3 student interns. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least one year related experience. Demonstrated directly related office management/administrative support experience. Executive office experience gained in a business or university setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with Ms software programs.
*Excellent organizational and problem solving skills, along with the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
*Ability to supervise and manage others.
*Demonstrated budget experience.
*Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels with an organization.
*Demonstrated experience handling numerous incoming calls.
*Demonstrated supervisory experience.
