Daryl Mintz, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Daryl Mintz is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. In this position, he is responsible for CPB’s financial procedures as well as the direction of all administrative, human resources, and treasury functions within the organization.

Mintz spent most of his career at Sesame Workshop, starting as assistant controller in 1999 and becoming chief financial officer in 2010. As CFO, he led the company’s financial operations as well as its technology and facilities functions.

After he left Sesame Workshop in 2022, Mintz was chief financial and administrative officer of the Robin Hood Foundation, one of New York City’s largest local philanthropic entities dedicated to combating poverty, before becoming chief financial and strategy officer for The Second City, the comedy club, comedy theater, and improv school.

He began his career in public accounting at Wiss & Company in Livingston, NJ, after graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in accounting.
