Nebraska Public Media is seeking an experienced professional who under limited supervision, researches, produces and announces an on-air shift. Examples of Work

• On-air responsibilities include hosting Afternoon Concert and International News magazine, The World, Monday through Friday

• Create thematic stories to share hourly as part of the music presentation

• Create a sound rich daily promotion for the following day’s Afternoon Concert

• Assist with the creation of image promotion, sense of place recordings and daily readers

• Create pledge drive testimonials for classical music programming

• Assist with the creation of social media promos and content for a music page 

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:  Experience and education or training in broadcast journalism or music including broadcasting and producing news segments and special features.

PREFERRED:  Six months broadcasting and classical music background.
