The Sales Coordinator, Radio & TV provides administrative support to ensure the accurate scheduling, tracking, and billing of underwriting acknowledgements on KSMU Radio and Ozarks Public Television. The Sales Coordinator, Radio & TV provides additional administrative support to the corporate support team to ensure effective customer service and accurate delivery of marketing benefits to business supporters of the stations. This position is part-time.
Builds and maintains a strong understanding of the television system, ensuring station processes and procedures and effectively utilize the technical capabilities of the system and ensure effective service to station business supporters.
Enters client information and sales orders into television traffic system, based on client specifications provided by Corporate Support Representatives.
Creates and maintains systems to confirm and document the accurate delivery of marketing benefits to station business supporters; generates and reviews client records and invoices to ensure accurate billing.
Assists Corporate Support Representatives in the creation of underwriting announcements by coordinating interdepartmental collaboration, creating scripts, creating production orders, scheduling recordings, requesting and securing visual assets from clients and facilitating client approval.
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or the equivalent and 1 year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and general office experience is required.
Skills: Keyboarding skills are required. A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications is required. A working knowledge of or the ability to learn specialized broadcasting software is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to prepare and maintain organized records is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
Effort: Position is primarily sedentary. Position requires extensive keyboarding.
