TITLE: Corporate Support Specialist
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Corporate Support
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: Texas Public Radio is a mission-driven, award-winning, multimedia, nonprofit organization serving an audience of more than 200,000 through 7 radio stations across a large portion of south and central Texas. We are currently offering a unique opportunity to join our quickly growing organization, whose mission is to serve as a premier source for fair, thoughtful and engaging news, information and entertainment programming. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, resourceful self-starter, with strong time management and critical thinking skills and creative ideas. The revenue generated through corporate support is vital to TPR’s ability to serve the community. This position will play a fundamental role in helping TPR’s Corporate Support Department achieve its revenue goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative:
Maintain/organize Corporate Support network folders & documents.
Coordinate and schedule Script/Audio production with clients and internal departments.
Maintain well-organized information about sponsored events and programming including all digital offerings.
Assist with Brilliant Directories database as needed.
Primary Administrator of BaseCamp project management software.
General:
Serve as a liaison between Corporate Support and other departments to ensure cohesive teamwork.
Creating/updating/customizing sponsor proposals in collaboration with Marketing team.
Serve as back-up for the Traffic Director.
Maintain knowledge and regular experience with provided TPR programs such as Basecamp, Natural Log, Every Action and Brilliant Directories.
Fulfillment:
Ensure the delivery of digital and promotional occurs in a timely manner through assigning tasks and follow-up so that deadlines are met.
Coordinate Basecamp project fulfillment with appropriate team stakeholders.
Ensure that requested client nonprofit events are posted on TPR community calendar.
Reports:
Acquire and distribute digital metric reports.
Acquire and distribute digital assets and sponsorship availability reports regularly.
Provide weekly missing copy reports.
Provide proof of performance/campaign delivery reports when needed.
Provide weekly revenue reports to Corporate Support team.
Prepare event recap reports, including screenshots, photos, and other appropriate materials.
Ensure that signed agreements are available for placed orders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity, with knowledge of sales, marketing digital and broadcast media being a plus.

Demonstrated proficient computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility: May be required to work evening and weekend events.
Licenses: Must have valid standard Class C driver’s license.
Talking: Frequently conveying important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.
Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Visual: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect written materials.
Physical: Combination of sedentary work, using the computer and telephone; and interfacing in-person with supporters, listeners and the community at large. Needs reliable transportation. May have to lift a variety of items up to approximately 25 lbs.
Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects.
Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.
