Job Description:

PBS Michiana WNIT is looking for an eager and committed Associate Producer/MMJ to advance interesting and important storytelling in the area. This position works collaboratively with team members to support the production of WNIT’s local content creation and productions, which are produced on-time, on budget and in alignment with the trusted brand of public media.

The Associate Producer/MMJ supports the research, development, writing, editing, shooting and delivery of compelling original content. Works under identified timelines, budgets and adherence to a schedule. A strong work ethic is required. The ideal candidate is a doer and problem solver, but is also able to take direction and act as a team player. In addition, this person has demonstrated success in broadcast and digital content creation, included, but not limited to video, audio, graphics and field production.

This position will report to the Senior Producer/Director, but will also collaborate across multiple engagement and content projects and support other opportunities as they arise. Primary responsibility will be in service to EducationCounts_Michiana which is a weekly educational series about programs and initiatives in the WNIT broadcast region.
