WUCF is seeking a Production Manager.
The Production Manager is responsible in carrying out WUCF's mission of serving as Central Florida Storyteller. Oversees all facets of the technical production. Works closely with the Managing Producer to ensure all content meets ensuring compliance with WUCF standards under the direction of the Director of Content.
Oversees and supervises & participates all facets of studio production unit and field production gear and production staff.
Leads production personnel, provides training, and works to develop and enhance workflows and processes for content from idea to distribution.
Work in conjunction with WUCF Engineering on maintaining and training on WUCF production gear.
Work to regularly develop and train staff and stay on top of technology trends used in digital/broadcast storytelling.
Recommends future equipment purchases. Lead WUCF external production activities, including all pre- to post-production activities. Includes planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution in coordination with Managing Producer.
Participates with crew for multi-camera studio and remote productions including, but not limited to, Director/Technical Director responsibilities. Sets up, operates, and maintains all studio gear, audio and lighting equipment.
Works with Managing Producer to prepare and track project timelines and budgets to ensure fiscal management of production team.
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of related experience and 1+ year(s) of leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
A strong sense of initiative and creativity.
Previous experience in broadcast environments
