CPB Board of Directors to Meet on November 19-20, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 13, 2024)  -- The CPB Board of Directors will meet in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 10 am – 4:55 pm and Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 10-11 am ET. Public session will be on November 19 from 10- 10:20 am, 12:10-12:40 pm and 1:40-3:15 pm ET. On the draft agenda:

Day One (November 19):

  • Approval of Minutes (public and executive sessions)
  • Committee Chair Reports – Audit and Finance and Executive Compensation
  • Personnel and Compensation Matters (executive session)
  • Presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Congressman Earl Blumenauer
  • Chair and Directors’ Remarks
  • President’s Report to the Board
  • Legislative Update
  • Update on Ready To Learn and Survey re: Public Television Education Services
  • Resolutions of Appreciation for Board Service (3)
  • Update on Interconnection (executive session)
  • Discussion with General Counsel (executive session)
  • Future Agenda Items

Day Two (November 20):

  • Digital Infrastructure – Single Sign On Grant (executive session)
  • National Federation of Community Broadcasters Audience Counts Initiative Grant (executive session)
  • Future Agenda Items (executive session)
