The CPB Board of Directors will meet on Monday, July 16, 2018, from 10:30 am – 4:45 pm Eastern Time and Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 9:30 – 11:30 am Eastern Time. On the draft agenda:

  • Report on CPB's FY 2020/2022 ‎Budget Request to OMB (executive session)
  • Resolution: Authorization to Submit CPB’s Budget Request to OMB for CPB’s FY 2022 General Appropriation and FY 2020 Interconnection Appropriation
  • Update on Journalism
  • Hearken – Public Powered Journalism
  • "Civics 101" – New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) Podcast on U.S. Civics
  • Public Media Stations in the Digital Age
  • Report on CPB Initiative - The Digital Culture Accelerator and Resolution (executive session)
  • Report on Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative and Resolution (executive session)

Day 2

  • Update on Education
  • Student Reporting Labs
  • Discussion and Approval of CPB’s Goals and Objectives
  • Future Agenda Items

With the exception of the executive session, the public may attend and listen to these meetings in the Blair-Killian Board Room, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, 401 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
