Alabama Public Television ATSC 3.0 Upgrade

This grant funds Alabama Public Television, a statewide relay for the Emergency Alert System, to purchase hardware and software equipment, including upgrading license key software, which will allow it to transition to the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard and to broadcast alerts and content in rich media, such as live video, to targeted devices. This grant is funded on cost reimbursement basis through the first round (FY 2022) of the Federal Emergency Management Association's Next Generation Warning System Grant Program.
