Alma's Way

Alma's Way, created by Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street's Maria), is a preschool children's animated series focusing on 6-year-old Alma Rivera as she learns to think for herself, make decisions, and understand other people's point of view, in her diverse neighborhood in the Bronx. This grant supports 46 11-minute stories; two half-hour animated specials; two series of live-action shorts, including a series on social media designed for parents, caregivers, and educators; three digital games, including one from the Game Development Initiaitve for Newcomers; and updates to the website.
