City Island Season 2

This grant helps to fund production of 20 3-minute episodes of City Island and 10 90-second music videos that express a single curriculum concept in song form. The animated short-form series for 6-9-year-olds is set in a city where objects -- mailboxes, lamp posts, cars, windows and more -- are alive and demonstrate how those in a community work together to make decisions and solve problems. The episodes and music videos develop social studies themes and media literacy.
