Lynn Canal Broadcasting KHNS-FM NGWS Power, EAS, & Translator Update Project

This grant supports Lynn Canal Broadcasting to incorporate digital audio and increase the redundancy and reliability of their broadcast station?s emergency alerting, including an independent broadcast from Skagway if the KHNS studio and transmitter are compromised. This grant is funded on cost reimbursement basis through the first round (FY 2022) of the Federal Emergency Management Association's Next Generation Warning System Grant Program.
