Regional Journalism Collaboration: Alaska Desk

The Alaska Desk is a statewide journalism collaboration to strengthen and expand the local news services provided by public media stations in the state. The collaboration is led by Alaska Public Media in Anchorage and increases reporting and editorial capacity through the addition of three editors and four journalists embedded at four partner stations across the state. Partners provide partial funding for reporters and commit to editorial collaboration, as well as collaboration around digital analytics, fundraising, and underwriting, aided by the addition of a shared development officer.
