Regional Journalism Collaboration: Gulf States Newsroom (Phase 2)

This grant enables the Gulf States Newsroom, a regional news collaboration launched in 2020 with CPB and NPR support, to increase its editorial team, continue growing its audience, provide training for its news staff, deepen its community engagement efforts, and keep moving toward financial sustainability. The GSN is led by WBHM in Birmingham, AL, with partners Mississippi Public Broadcasting, WWNO in New Orleans, and WRKF in Baton Rouge, LA.
