RESOLUTION
Board of Directors
Corporation for Public Broadcasting
Washington, D.C.

unanimously
RESOLVED,
That the Board of Directors
of the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting
Expresses Its Deep Appreciation to
The Public Broadcasting Caucus
The Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting would like to recognize the Congressional Public Broadcasting Caucus for its support of public media and the extraordinary leadership of its Co-Chairs, Congressmen Earl Blumenauer, Fred Upton, John Yarmuth and Mark Amodei.
Since its establishment in April 2001, the Public Broadcasting Caucus has dedicated itself to promoting a strong and financially secure, universal, educational, noncommercial broadcasting service for every American.
With the Public Broadcasting Caucus’s support, public broadcasting stations nationwide are able to provide their communities and the entire country news and information, educational and cultural programs, and services that focus on the needs of underserved audiences – including children, minorities, and low-income Americans.
The Caucus recognizes that public media is the only service that reaches more than 99 percent of Americans free of charge and commercial free.
In this time of crisis, CPB is deeply grateful for the continuing support provided by Congress for public media’s vital content and services and the essential role of the Public Broadcasting Caucus in ensuring that support.
CPB is proud to work in partnership with the Public Broadcasting Caucus as we look forward to a vibrant future of continued service to the American people.
