Deborah Carr serves as the Vice President, Operations and Strategy at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). In her role, she works closely with the COO to provide effective leadership, strategy, planning and execution of CPB’s operations and grant making efforts.
Previously, Ms. Carr was CPB’s Vice President, Media Strategy Operations and spent ten years in the CPB Radio department including as Director of Business and Administration, responsible for business operations. Earlier she served as the Director of Radio CSG Policy and Administration, managing the 2012/2013 Radio CSG Review that resulted in updates to the Radio CSG policies. In addition, she managed CPB investments in radio programming and system initiatives. Ms. Carr joined CPB in the Human Resources department, managing employee benefits and other HR related functions.
Ms. Carr holds a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University, from which she also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.
