Cara Dalrymple, Vice President, Human Resources

Cara Dalrymple is Vice President for Human Resources for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. She directs the daily operation of the Human Resources department, including benefits, compensation, staffing, performance monitoring, labor and employee relations, Affirmative Action planning, recruitment and retention, organizational development and training, personnel systems/records management, and employer events.

Ms. Dalrymple is an experienced human resource professional with over 25 years of experience in both internal human resource management and external human resource consulting. Prior to joining CPB, Ms. Dalrymple worked as an HR Management Consultant for KnowledgeBank, directed the HR department at Pacific Institute, and worked as an HR Generalist at HEINZ, USA and QWIZ, Inc.

Ms. Dalrymple studied Social Work at Eastern Kentucky University, holds a Masters in Human Resources Management from Webster University where she received the “Distinguished Student Award”, and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Ms. Dalrymple also received the Society for Human Resource Management’s Certified Professional designation.
