programmed music

On my latest BMI statement I found the following line item: "CPB WEB MUSIC Title: FOX-COLORLESS SKY BECAME FOG Work no.: 008097257 Use: FF Performance count: 5,575 Period: 20211" With this high a performance count, this is obviously a piece of mine that's used for some sort of recurring purpose--perhaps a show intro or promo. So, I'm simply idly curious about what show or promo it's been used for. Thanks. Jim Fox

Thank you for contacting the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). CPB has traditionally paid the music rights fees to licensing organizations on behalf of the public broadcasting system. All CPB CSG qualified, NPR Members and PBS Members select and report on the BMI-licensed music used in their programs and CPB does not track this information on behalf of stations. You may wish to reach out to PBS or NPR for more information.
