The coveted GM role at 45-year young KVMR, Nevada City CA, is open. Located in the heart of Gold Country, just an hour from Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, KVMR seeks a dynamo with the passion to lead radio into the 21st century, backed by a stellar team and a sound $1 million-plus budget.  

KVMR’s current, celebrated GM is relocating on good terms for family reasons.  The new GM inherits over two hundred volunteers, an engaged Board, cash reserves and exciting initiatives such as KVMRx alternative radio, Youth News Corps, official county Emergency Broadcast services and KVMR’s own live Celtic Festival.

The KVMR GM role is a true step-up for someone with the heart and leadership for community radio, knowing that KVMR is the fabric of our community.
