Julia Alvarez: Something to Declare

Julia Alvarez: Something to Declare is a 90-minute documentary that explores the life and work of one of the United States most celebrated Latina writers. Digital bilingual educational resources designed for middle and high school English language arts and social studies curriculum are being created for PBS LearningMedia. Distributed by American Masters and co-presented with Latino Public Broadcasting's VOCES series, the program premieres in Fall 2024.
