American Masters: The VIA Project - Visibility, Inclusion and Accessibility

This grant supports a multi-prong project to expand the accessibility of content in the American Masters eight-episode 2023 season, and to produce five short digital documentaries highlighting historical figures with disabilities. The project also explores the feasibility of creating a Visibility, Inclusion and Accessibility Incubator to widen the public media pipeline of accessible content for and along with hearing and sight-impaired audiences.
