CPB Board of Directors to Meet Telephonically on October 13 and October 14, 2020

WASHINGTON, D.C (October 2, 2020) --The CPB Board of Directors will hold its annual meeting virtually on Tuesday, October 13 from 2:00 – 4:55 pm ET and Wednesday, October 14 from 2:00 – 4:30 pm ET. On the draft agenda:

Day One (October 13):

  • Approval of Public Session Minutes
  • Chair’s and Directors’ Remarks
  • Election of Chair and Vice Chair       
  • Committee Chair Report
  • President’s Report to the Board
  • Public Media Journalism - Local/National News Coverage of Election 2020
  • Education Update

Day Two (October 14):

  • Annual Code of Ethics Certification and Review of Conflict of Interests Policy
  • Discussion of Calendar Year 2021 Meeting Dates and Locations
  • Extension for TV Community Service Grant Second Base Grant Policy and Research Period
  • Future Agenda Items
  • Review of Business Plan (public and executive sessions)
  • Approval of Executive Session Minutes
