Emergency Funding: Texas Public Radio - Uvalde

CPB is providing Texas Public Radio with emergency funding to assist in defraying extraordinary expenses incurred to provide coverage of the mass shooting in Uvalde, TX. On May 24, 2022, a gunman shot and killed 19 children and 2 teachers inside Robb Elementary School. Texas Public Radio is the sole public radio station available in Uvalde and surrounding areas.
