Growing a Public Media Youth Audience

KQED continues to develop a youth audience for public media, help educators and families equip a generation of young people for success in college, careers, and community, and increase public media's ability to reach a broader audience with content produced for, with, and by youth. Grant activities include production of KQED's youth-targeted PBS Digital Studios series Above the Noise, with some episodes produced in collaboration with PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs. KQED will also launch a series of school-based Youth Media Challenges.
