StoryCorps Military Voices Initiative

StoryCorps collects, broadcasts, and preserves compelling stories of American veterans, active military personnel, and their families through its Military Voices Initiative. StoryCorps is partnering with stations KAZU (Monterey), WPLN (Nashville), WUWF (Pensacola), and WYSO (Yellow Springs) to record 150 interviews, to be archived at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. StoryCorps is producing six MVI segments to be broadcast nationally on NPR and distributed to local stations, at no cost, through PRX.org and StoryCorps.org.
