WSIU Carbondale and Network Knowledge COS

Southern Illinois University's WSIU in Carbondale preserves public media over the air and cable TV service in the state capital, as well as in a wide, mostly rural, area of central and western Illinois. WSIU has executed an Asset Purchase Agreement (APA) for the broadcast licenses held by West Central Illinois Educational Telecommunications Corporation, a community licensee branded as Network Knowledge, which comprises WSEC in Springfield, WMEC in Macomb, and WQEC in Quincy.
