PBS Newshour mainly

It has been a great relief to see that PBS/NPR is doing factchecking on politicians, and reporting on fake news, at least for the past several years. I and the public need reliable information. It is a relief not to waste time on false equivalency of opposing political views when both can be fact-checked instead. This turn towards reliable information may cost the CPB in in Congress (funding), unfortunately, and this danger, too, should be known to the public, especially as some politicians have accused the media of being ‘the enemy of the people.’.

All Creatures Great And Small

The remake of this program is a travesty! I have read Herriots books, and unless his autobiography was a total lie, I think that he would be devastated to see how his story is being told.

PBS Newshour Feminist/African American bias

Judy Woodruff and Sara Just have ruined the PBS Newshour and should be replaced as soon as possible. As a liberal and longtime viewer, I have watched the quality deteriorate drastically since they took over. Their brazen feminist/African American bias is a disgrace to PBS and responsible journalism. They relentlessly push their agenda far beyond the pale in their selection of reporters and stories, with women totally dominating the program night after night ad nauseam.

NPR's indefensible leftist leanings

Regardless of what NPR program that I happen to turn on, other than Marketplace (and, sometimes even it), every subject, interview, and opinion are left-leaning, and sometimes to an extreme.

Although a liberal bias is nothing new at NPR, I have been listening to NPR for almost forty years and I can honestly say that there is essentially no reporting or interview that supports anything that has a conservative point of view, or does it incorporate an objective discussion with anyone who represents a more conservative position on a subject.

PBS Newshour

Judy Woodruff is beyond her usefulness as an interviewer - she is no longer able to deliver the news without being inept : stuttering “How- How” then the question. Unneeded in the anchor seat but seemingly tolerated while those around her hold the show together . Fawning over past his prime David Brooks and “ Our William “ and tripping over her attempts to ask questions - what a turn off ! Age 75 is goodbye time ! Despite her we watch the rest of the crew.

PBS Newshour

On Monday and Tuesday, Jan, 3 and 4, the sound stuttered, a speaker’s voice was full for two seconds, then silent for 1 or 2 seconds. It made it impossible to understand any speaker. The stuttering happened for a few seconds after I pressed play, but it also started several times during the program and for longer than a few seconds. I have not been able find any other way to communicate this to 9 or PBS.

Judy Woodruff needs to retire!

Isn’t it high time Judy Woodruff retired and allowed some new faces to refresh the face of PBS News hour. Please , please we are so tired of seeing her as the face of this program. Time to give Amna Nawaz an opportunity to take over the helm. She brings much needed energy to the program! If Judy won’t leave, it’s time to push her out. Thank you!

Fundraising

Think we'll stop watching, the Fundraising is on constantly, seems like three months non stop. Everyone we talk to feels the same. Will miss PBS

PBS biases

As a leftist, PBS is actually right wing. The only reporters PBS seems to interview are from Washington Post, which is a fascistic propaganda outlet. Why does your organization find it acceptable to I interview people from an organization that wants elites to have EVEN MORE CONTROL???

Why CPB is paying BBC?

Why is PBS/NPR paying BBC? Why did BBC have Alan Dershowitz on commenting on conviction of Ghislaine Max (https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-59828961)? Not even Sky (no) News had Dershowitz on, but BBC did! Why the Corp. for Public paying BBC (https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/19/bbc-strikes-deal-with-pbs-to-create-factual-programmes)?
