I am a devoted viewer of PBS. I watch PBS because I learn so much and very much respect Judy Woodruff and other journalists and analysts who work closely with Judy Woodruff. I wanted to see if any assistance could be provided by Judy Woodruff and all involved who critiqued the very disturbing outcome of the debate. Simply asking that the Presidential Debates are handled with more decorum . Chris Wallace represented Fox but it seemed he lost ability to control racial slurs and constant interruptions made by President Trump . As a result, extra time was made for him at Biden’s and the viewers expense. President Trump should have been disqualified . He violated every rule of diplomacy in a debate. Wallace tried to set limits but failed . Perhaps a new rule to Turn individual microphones on for time granted and when time is up , turn it off. If not abided by , he should have lost his turn. At least Vice President Biden did more to explain facts with less time allowed. Once again President Trump got the attention he so desperately needs. To him that is a “Win”. He does not have what it takes to be a responsible or respectable President. Less viewers will want to see more debates after the first one tonight if this is all we can expect. People will not be educated and may not vote. I want everyone to vote, and I want to have hope that there are better days ahead. Respectfully, Barbara Branigan Broderick

Arthur Anti-Racism Episode
I am very, very disappointed that you are injecting propaganda into at least one program, Arthur. I thought we were into teaching children about kindness, sharing, relieving some of their anxiety about the dark, and strangers. To teach them that black people are being victimized is just disgusting. I am stopping any kind of money going to PBS, canceling any subscription that I have, and I will not allow my grandchildren that show and will monitor the other shows. It is unnecessary. I don't know if BLM is funding you. You've really crossed the line with this indoctrination, propaganda, and silliness.
Washington Week
What a biased program - the announcer used slippery language to fault the Republicans for refusing to approve the skinny pandemic bill when it was actually the Democrats. Appalling. Can't you hire real journalists?
Captions/translation and music vs talking
To Whom It May Concern, First and foremost on behalf of family and friends I want to thank you for all of the wonderful hours of entertainment you have provided over the years. Especially the British, Canadian and Australian Broadcasting Corps just to name a few, We especially enjoy the coms and the mysteries. Also the many educational and informational programming you air. I am not sure that you can do anything but I feel you know how to spread the word in regards to the matter I am writing you. Didn't know where else to turn. I'm pretty sure that we aren't the first to be annoyed about the two problems I am writing you about. 1) While watching mainly documentaries (Th Alphabet A-Z or something like that is the most recent) when they add captions because they person is speaking another language or their Accent is very thick or their English isn't that well they provide captioning. Overall this is great and wonderful. However, there is two problems with it. First and foremost is a majority of the time the captioning blends in with the background. An example would be using white for the captioning when there is a a light background or vice versa makes it very hard to read. Also the writing is very small. This does cause a significant problem especially for the elder and those with vision problems. If you watch the program I mentioned above you'll understand what I am talking about. We wonder about the editor's, producer's and whoever, is responsible for the finished product. It's as if they either don't watch the final product or they don't care. If you're providing captioning you'd think they would have a contrast so the viewing audience can see what's being said and it could be written a little bigger. 2) The other is why on many occasions do they increase the music especially during dialogues or talks making it harder to hear. Or they just increase it. Again this can be a problem for the elderly and those with hearing problems. Many also don't like the loud noise. As I stated before I didn't know who else to address these issues with. I figured that since you deal with many of these people, groups or organizations you can pass the word to them. I would also appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction of where I can address the issue or get a petition going so that they know that there are many in the viewing audience can also address the issue with them. Hopefully, if enough people complain they can change it so that we the viewing public will really appreciate not only the program but the time and effort they made in making it. Hopefully, this makes sense. Again thank you for the many wonderful years of alternative television viewing. At this time I would like to thank you for your time and attention to this matter. My email address is 32hibernias@gmail.com Respectfully Yours, Joseph W Kirwan

Why do you play bad shows during pledge time? It doesn’t cause me to pledge. In fact, when I see one of these “infomercials” with someone selling the latest diet book or most nutritious eating plan, I just turn the channel. I just want to see the regular shows, or maybe a ballet. Really, are these informercials all you can come up with?
Weekend edition Sunday
NPR has taken a serious leftward lurch due to the staff being of the millennial and younger gen x demographic I’m assuming. I used to listen to WHYY in Philly, Radio times, fresh air, ATC until the content became all victim all the time. Moved to Colorado, CPR same stuff different location. WHYY alumnus Joanne Allen came out here too. Today they were pushing a book “the history of whiteness” which I’m sure isn’t flattering to white folks. A promo for an HBO movie, a supposed comic romp about a young girl running away with her friend to get an abortion. Hysterical! The usual “disproportionately affects people of color” inserted in every story when it’s not even relevant. I listen to the puzzle and some rare non leftist political shows, hidden brain and the like. That’s it. Wouldn’t give you a plug nickel hope you get defunded.
Debate
For the next president debate, unless it’s the candidate’s two minute turn their microphones should be muted.
NPR - In defense of looting
As a listener to This American Life, Snap Judgement and other NPR classics I appreciate the content that CPB offers. However, lately I have started to shy away. The last fundraiser was the first time I did not contribute. A big part of the reason is the normalization of violent idea's towards our political opponents. This article in particular made me realize that NPR is no longer on the correct side. As I have started to leave heavily biased sources behind...I always previously felt NPR was neutral....however, I no longer feel that way. Please stop supporting the unrest, violence and chaos that is ripping this country apart. I simply will NOT be a part of it....and if NPR is a part of it, I will no longer support CPB. Thank you
Nature Cat
At end of program there was a short piece encouraging children to pick up pine cones to use in a variety of different ways. Although that is excellent to suggest, many creatures hide out in pinecones, especially scorpions in the South. This could be very hazardous to young children and you should encourage kids to have parents check the cones out before they smell, paint, and take apart the cones. Thank you

Clearly Biased Opinion / No Longer News Reporting / Woodruff
Judy Wudruff is no longer a reliable source of objective reporting. Her willingness to steer Left and push the Democrat agenda has become more and more obvious. Her apparent hatred for Trump is revealing itself in the tonality and discourse during interviews. I once relied on PBS for news, It's a shame that is no longer possible. Clearly Biased Opinion / No Longer News Reporting / Woodruff .... would love to see PBS return to actual news reporting .. i am holding out hope !
Democratic Convention: Freedom on Disp[ay
I was saddened to watch PBS last night, well after the Demo convention started. And all I saw was your tallking heads. Reminds me of watching a basketball game and having talking total nonsense, and making it very obvious they are not even watching the game. That what I saw last evening. Your talking heads are as dumb as the rest of us, but paid more. I find them uninteresting, aged and tired. We need to have a public broadcast system that just shows the news, and does not bend the forces of the monied class. You always state that the BBC is your model. However that media is also nonsense. Just a continued exhibit of the loving, ruling class. Big houses/Small brains. Try to do better. Do not comment on the event. Broadcast event. Do not replay 40 year old BBC content. Broadcast contemporary plays. Broadway is dead now. Use some of your cash to get one stage up and running. We do not need a cast of thousands. Many very good content can be result with just few actors. A stream such as Britbox is just ruining your reason for dumping ancient BBC junk down the PBS tube. How about live broadcasts from the Supreme Court. Congressional Hearings. Reports from the CDC. I judge that PBS has moved into the junk status, a grand idea, but not a grand outcome. Just show the convention. We can make up our own minds.
judy Woodruff
I am an avid reader and researcher- in find that Judy Woodruffs characterization of a non violent protest is way off the mark--PBS along with the controlled American media is misleading the public badly, Biden has been shielded from the public and protected by the media whores-the country is headed towards anarchy-and most of this chaos was manipulated by the DNC whose agenda was to defeat Donald Trump either before or after the election-Congress has failed in its sworn mandate to defend and protect US we the people-The GOP has not done much better- i rely on FOREIGN media for reporting accuracy-The people know and understand that neither party represents the constituency-we have turned into a fascist ologarchy, whose objection the public manifested itself in the ignition of a national rebellion over the George Floyd murder- and now worsened by gun wielding cops who have yet murdered 3 more of the public--Military complex [warned aboit byb Eisenhauer] is running this country into war--WE WILL NOT ABIDE WITH THESE ACTIONS-as well now we learn that this pandemic was LABORATORY CREATED IN THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA-CHAPEL HILL --AND HARDENED IN GREAT BRITAIN--WE WILL FIND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ENGAGED IN GENOCIDE, AND WE WILL DEAL NWITH THEM THAT LEGAL PROCESS IS ALREADY UNDERWAY--NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW NOT EVEN POLITICAL PARTIES IN AND OUT OF OFFICE--WE WILL TAKE OUR. COUNTRY BACK WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR HELP--IS THEIR NON SHAME ON YOUR PART FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE CHAOS WE NOW EXPERIENCE? MILT FARROW
PBS Editorial
I am a moderate republican. I have in the past been a supporter of PBS until you became political. I can tolerate debates about ideas, ideology and other public views. I do views taking a political position and being critical of a person in a wheel chair, regardless of political views as a cheap and undignified criticism of anyone. I know you are a liberal organization and as such will act accordingly but you truly should as an organization reevaluate your standards. I no longer contribute. I found your values long ago did not align with mine.
Yamiche Alcindor
Ms Alcindor is a talented reporter. Alas, her tv delivery needs work. She speaks too fast. Often her comments are garbled and difficult to follow. Does she review her on- screen performance? Does anyone? It's a simple fix. Just slow down, modulate and articulate so we the vieeres can follow your reporting.
Yamichie Alcindor
I listeded to what the president said and the read what Yamiche Alcindor reported and said and she left out information to twist the truth, is she Ok??
