Please do not be dismissive of my story. I have been a loyal contributor to the “Public Broadcasting System” since its creation by congress. How did we get to where we are? As a child, I can remember waiting with excitement to watch the next installment of “The Adams Chronicles” with my FATHER. It was something that helped instill in me a strong sense of Civic Pride. I remember seeing my father's eyes fill with tears from time to time during the course of the series. He was proud to be an inheritor of this country. He was the first generation born in “The United States of America.” He ended his life by saying, “I guess I didn't do so bad. I put 2 boys through college.” I have seen the progression from early public broadcasting in the NY metropolitan area through to Northern California, Southern California and now in Tucson, Arizona. The local AZPM has become nothing more than an advertising company. They proudly solicit, on air, their ability to put a company on their broadcasting service. I will not divert into programming questions. What has motivated this correspondence is the deterioration of the nightly news broadcast. How could we have sunk this low. I do not blame the selection of the 2 people hosting the broadcast. I do not know how material is selected and who slants the material, but it is not “The MacNeil, Lehrer News Hour” any longer. Do they not have the ability to show anything but victims of the Hamas war with on Israel? The war must be reported on, but it is a war. It is not something to keep score on like a ball game. I will not watch one more tearful victim on either side. There was hope this kind of programming could have been avoided when Gwen was alive, but Judy alone was not a capable Journalist, to say nothing of her overt sexism. How she stayed on for as long as she did I will never know. I only occasionally watch the news hour any longer, but when I do, I end up turning it off quickly and turn to internet sources for my news. This is not just a PBS issue, but I had to take a moment to let you know how far down you have gone. I no longer pledge my support to PBS.

The reason I am contacting you is to request that all of you to please look into all the things that I am trying to get done before I am no more. I have answers to many of the world's problems but having answers to problems means nothing if nobody is listening. However, the world is in flames as we got WW3 going on in Ukraine and now WW4 about to go off in the Middle East between Israel and the United States against the whole Arab world. The war that is now just beginning between Israel and the Palestinians will quickly evolve into a much deadlier conflict as soon as the Israeli Army invades the Gaza strip. That invasion will set of a massive military retaliation from the forces that oppose Israel. The armies of Israel will never be able to hold off an attack from all sides of it's borders as forces who oppose Israel rush into Israel and destroy everything that they can in Israel. All the soldiers and their war weapons and Iron Dome protection will not be able to stop all the invading forces whose goal is to destroy Israel and kick the Jewish population out of the Middle East. Israel is outnumbered in fighting force, Tanks will not help Israel as they become iron coffins, just like the Russians learned in Ukraine. Israel will look like Gaza looks today. Israel will be bombed to the stone age as Arab warriors from around the world join in the massacre of revenge that the Arabs who oppose Israel want. This is the situation that the world is in. The United States is being dragged into this war by Israel and also is responsible for all of this happening in the eyes of the of the Arab world. The rest of the world will also be drawn into the war as the try to save Israel from total destruction. What the world has seen so far in this war pales when compared to what is about to happen to Israel which will look like Germany did after WW2. How will and how can the world pull the Israeli people out of the destroyed rubble that will be what is left of Israel. Israel will exist no more as Israels leave the Middle East and seek shelter elsewhere. That is the situation we all face within weeks. I tried for decades to convince the Israelis and Arabs to make peace instead of war. Now the BIG war is here and there is no peace in sight. I am hoping that the reality of what is about to happen in this conflict will cause all warring parties to pause and take a good look at what it is that we have done and are doing as well as figure out a way to stop it. In this war between the Israeli and the Arabs there is no easy answers to ending the violence. There is too much hate and revenge in the minds of all on the battlefield. Perhaps if everyone sees the future as I tell it then maybe everyone would put down their arms and talk peace so that what I say will be will not be. This Israeli and Palestinian conflict has been going on since Israel was created in 1948. Unfortunately, we didn't also create a state of Palestine for the Palestinians to live in. Unfortunately, us Americans were the main creators of Israel as then President Eisenhower of the United States forced the whole world to create Israel right in the middle of the land of Palestinians. The Arabs of the region in which Israel was created reacted in a way that showed that the Arab world did not like having Israel created in their own back yards. What right did everybody in the world have to put millions of people into a state of their own in someone's own land. The Arabs lived peacefully amongst themselves until 1948 when Israel was created. Since 1948 the area of the Middle East where Israel was created has been in some form of conflict all because of Israel and how the Israeli people treated the Arabs, their now neighbors. The state of Jordan and Egypt as well as other Arab nations had many conflicts over the years with Israel over Israel's desire to live in the new state of Israel. Unfortunately, it was the Palestinians who had their land taken away from them as Israel drew its boundaries in 1948. In 1972 a big war broke out between Israel and the Arabs over land disputes. The United States of America has been helping Israel since 1948 in every way that they could to help Israel survive and win all the conflicts that Israel had with the Arabs. As time went on the Arab nations surrounding Israel made deals with Israel to end their wars with Israel. However, nobody since 1948 made deals with Israel to ensure that the Palestinian people had their state to live in and their rights protected. The world abandoned the Palestinian people since 1948 and are still doing so to this day! Jordan and Egypt made deals with Israel so that they wouldn't be involved in the conflicts inflicted upon the Palestinian by the Israeli government and the Jewish people of Israel. The Palestinians had their rights of all kinds taken away from them by Israel as the nation of Israel forced the Palestinians to live in a world where the Jewish people of Israel enslaved the Palestinians in every way that they could. To this day the Palestinians are told by the Israelis about where they can go, where they can live, where they can work and what they can do and not do and many other commands that the Israelis force the Palestinians to follow. As Israel expands its borders and settlements onto the land of the Palestinians the Palestinians feel powerless in their desire to have a normal live, just as every other human being on this planet gets to have. The frustration of the Palestinian people and the rest of the Arab world over the treatment of that the Palestinians receive from the Jewish people of Israel has caused the Palestinians and the Arab community to rise up and say no more! The end of Israelis domination over the Palestinians is what the Arab community want, and it appears that the Arabs of the world are rising up and organizing into a fighting force that will end this domination of the Jewish people of Israel over the Palestinians. Unfortunately, that is where we are at today. This war between the Arabs and Israel should not also become a war between the people of the United States and the Arab nations. This is a war caused by the failed political policies of Netanyahu, Biden and the politicians of the Republican and Democratic party of America. The people of America do not support the policies of their President or Congress when it comes to how America conducts foreign policies when it comes to policies that deal with Israel and the Palestinian issues and the Palestinian desires for a state of their own and their human rights. Americans do not in any way support Israel's dictatorial actions that Israel imposes upon the Palestinian people. Unfortunately, we Americans have a President Biden and many past presidents and the whole Congress of the United States as well as many brainwashed military and civilian Americans who are willing to drag America into a mess created by Israel since 1948. The time is past for negotiations for peace as warriors enhance their weapons for war. Minds dedicated to peace are lost and are now replaced with plans for attacks. As politicians of many nations talked to Israel about deals in Saudi Arabia that they thought would bring peace and the end of this Israeli conflict between the Palestinians and Israel many in the Palestinian community only felt that those plans were not what they wanted. So they rose up and revolted. That is where we are at today, a full-scale war between Israel and the Arabs of the world. Israel says that it wants to invade the Gaza strip and wipe out Hamas. Well, think about it. Almost every Arab sympathizes with Hammas and is willing to join the battle against Israel. How can Israel, with all it's might and weapons going to stop an invasion of Israel by 500,000 or more angry Arabs who are armed to the max? How is Israel going to defend itself when Arabs surrounding Israel send thousands of rockets upon Israel? The Iron Dome will not be able to stop them all and many will land in populated areas in Israel. The major cities of Israel will become a pile of rubble as rockets from all sides of Israel bombard Israel into the stone age. The United States will then be pulled into the battle as America's ships join the fight to save Israel by shooting down all the rockets that it can. This will cause the Arabs to start firing at America's battle ships which will lead to American soldiers having to fight too in order to protect itself. Israel is leading the world into a world war and the world is letting Israel lead us all into a war we should not ever had to have. We should of settled this Palestinian problem in 1948 and because we never did we all are paying for it now. Israel will never rid itself of having to face Hammas because millions of Arabs are Hamas warriors in their minds no matter where they live. Israel will never be able to get Hamas out of Gaza because Hamas is not just individuals but a part of every Arab. Just as black people feel a bond with other black people the Arabs feel a bond with the Palestinian people. Israel is setting itself up for a war that will end Israel's existence. Is that what Israel wants? Is that what we Americans want? Are we going to allow Israel to lead the world into a war that has no end? This Israeli and Palestinian War must be stopped for another important reason. And that reason is that the world's atmosphere is as of today suffering from human activity. I am a 72 year old disabled man who is finally getting over a chronic cellulitis flare up episode that I have been dealing with sinch last February. I have chronic cellulitis for about 40 years and every 2-3 years it flares up and I have to get either antibiotic pills or go to the hospital for antibiotic IV treatment in order to bring down the cellulitis infection so that I can live with the infection. This episode of the infection has been the worse flare up I have had in the last 40 years. They gave me the 3 strongest IV antibiotics that they could in February and the had me on antibiotic pills and the more IV antibiotic pills. Yet about a month ago my body went into a sepsis attack as the cellulitis infection started travelling through my blood stream from the infected area and sent my body into a sepsis state. Having no phone, I could not walk or call for help but luckily, I was in my car and was able to drive myself to the hospital. I tell you all of this because I want all of you to please help me to end global warming. With the war in Ukraine and the war between Israel and the Arabs there will make global warming worse and is going to cause massive pressure on our atmosphere to maintain a temperature that will not get hotter. I need your help to stop this atmosphere from getting any hotter. My plan is to have tens of thousands of petitioners to go to every airport and rocket launch pad in the world and LEGALLY AND PEACEFULLY close them down with tens of thousands of petitioners who will PARTY 24/7 at all airports and launch pads while they petition all the people they encounter with the facts about global warming and why people should not fly jet engine airplanes anymore and go back to flying propeller planes only! If we can stop flying jet planes anymore then I am sure that the temperature of our atmosphere will be lowered. Let's do it! Help me do it! I am disabled and recovering in a nursing home from this cellulitis attack I am now having. I can't do much at all because I am now in a nursing home with very little strength to do anything. However, I have to do something. My plan was to educate the world about what global warming is so I made a webpage called solutionstoglobalwarming.com and was hoping that educating people to understand global warming would be enough to get people to not fly jet planes anymore. However, after nearly killing myself for the last year and a half trying to go to the beaches of California and educating people, I realized that my age and health prevented me from doing so. I have only one option left and that is to go to rock concerts and school yards and try to use my megaphone to first understand what global warming is and why we have to immediately shut down all major airports and launch pads worldwide! Like I said, I need your help! Will you help me end global warming or not. As long as Ayesha Rascoe is the host for Sunday edition I will NOT contribute to NPR. Her voice is so grating and annoying I can’t listen anymore. Surely there are other women who would be better as the host.

NewHour coverage of the Israel/Hamas conflict is inarguably unbalanced presenting primarily Gaza victim side with no context and scant mention of how this started in the current conflict, virtually no mention of extraordinary and illegal attack on innocent Israelis. We have contacted our federal representatives on the question of public funding.

Please remove funding from The Classical Station out of Wakefield NC for censorship of arts on the grounds of “not family friendly “. Works like Malcolm X and The Hours have been judged and censored by a few narrow minded individuals. Public funds should not support this.

My father loves Lawrence Welk. He watches the reruns faithfully, it's the highlight of his week. He is 96 yrs. old. He doesn't like the new format. There is more talking from stars of the show and less music and singing. Any chance of changing the format back?

To whom it may concern ; I’m a regular listener of public radio especially on Sundays. Lately I’ve no longer listening to public radio on Sundays. Ayesha Rascoe is unfortunately gifted with the most annoying voice I’ve ever listened to! Even if she is medically impaired, I strongly feel that image of npr is not properly represented! I’m stopping to listen to the Sunday edition because of that annoying voice!
