YOUR GUEST IS SO WRONG TO BLAME TRUMP FOR DIVIDING THE COUNTRY.....THOSE WHO HAVE REFUSED TO ACCEPT HIS 2016 LEGITIMATE ELECTION AND HAVE TRIED EVERY DIRTY TRICK TO GET RID OF HIM ARE DIVIDING THE COUNTRY. HAD HE BEEN ACCEPTED AS THE LEGITIMATELY ELECTED PRESIDENT -WHICH HE IS - AND HAD THOSE WHO OPPOSE HIM SPENT THEIR TIME DETERMINING WHY THEY LOST AND SPENT THEIR TIME CONSTRUCTIVELY OVERHAULING THEIR PARTY TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE, THEY MIGHT BE IN S BETTER POSITION TO ACHIEVE A WIN AGAIN. THEY ARE SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE NEEDS OF AMERICANS THAT YOU COULD NEVER GET ME TO CONSIDER VOTING FOR THEM. THEIR ANTICS HAVE BEEN AND CONTINUE TO BE DEPLORABLE. FROM THE PHONY RUSSIAN HOAX, TO THE ILLEGITIMATE MULLER INVESTIGATION TO THE PHONY IMPEACHMENT TRIALS TO BLAMING TRUMP FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA, THEY HAVE KEPT THIS COUNTRY IN TURMOIL. NEVER HAS A DULY ELECTED PRESIDENT BEEN TREATED SO UNFAIRLY. HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED MORE GOOD FOR THIS COUNTRY IN HIS FIRST TERM THAN ANY PRESIDENT IN MY LIFE TIME. AM 77 AND HAVE FOLLOWED POLITICS WITH AN OPEN MIND ALL OF MY ADULT YEARS. ANYONE WITH AN OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE AND A DECENT MIND KNOWS THAT IF YOU TREAT PEOPLE BADLY YOU ARE SETTING UP YOUR FOLLOWERS TO DO THE SAME....SO THANKS TO THE DEMS AND THE ILLEGITIMATE MEDIA YOU HAVE THOSE WHO SUPPORT TRUMP BEHAVING LIKE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AND THOSE WHO DID NOT SUPPORT TRUMP TREATING TRUMP AND HALF THE POPULATION OF THE USA DEPLORABLY. I'M SICK OF THE MESS. TRUMP SHOULD BE REELECTED AND THOSE WHO CANNOT ACCEPT HIS RE-ELECTION SHOULD KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT OR GO FIND ANOTHER COUNTRY TO RUIN!

Why buskirk the Fox News commentator on the program tonight and why is he given time for his opinion rather than the actual program. If I want to watch news I can choose to do so. I don’t appreciate on PBS that I hope I can hold in esteem tomorrow if not today.

I am sitting here in my living room in Memphis, Tennessee and watching the PBS news that is on tonight. If this is a public broadcasting station, why are you being political? Why are you being political and rallying around the Democrats. You need to get off the air. Stop lying. You are not a public broadcasting station. 

In previous years I have always tuned to The PBS News Hour to find unbiased political news because I understood that CNN and Fox had political agendas. Unfortunately, in recent years I have been very disappointed in PBS' political coverage. There seems to be very little balanced reporting. All the political coverage stories seem slanted to the Democratic narrative. I no longer watch The PBS News Hour due to the unbalanced viewpoints and obvious lack of coverage of damage and crime happening in many of America's cities. But, mostly it is the programs' lack of courage to confront the Democratic position on their lack of leadership to stop violence. In my viewpoint The PBS News Hour has bowed to political bullying and turned a blind eye and refused to confront the Democrats in anyway whatsoever. I can only speak for myself, but It is a great loss when I cannot turn to public TV for unbiased reporting. Instead, I feel I am watching only the Democratic and liberal political parties viewpoints.

I was curious about the fact check between the coverage of DNC convention compared to the RNC. I don't feel that it is necessary for a panel discussion and to tear each speech down after they are presented. I would like to see the unadulterated whole content of a convention without some perspective of a commentator. I thought that public broadcasting was to bring the information and let people make up their mind. I do not like the panel discussions after. Just let us view the content of the speeches and let us make up our minds of how we feel. I am very unhappy and unsatisfied with PBS and will not be giving any additional funds. 

mr. shields stated that 67 million Americans depend on their monthly social security check, and implied that trump's recent interference in the timely delivery of mail could result in delayed social security checks...social security benefits are delivered electronically (the treasury dept can grant exceptions in rare circumstances)...so mr. shields' sensationalized the post office story to suit his personal agenda...this is an example of why we no longer trust the media...mr. shields should get back on the high road and resist the temptation to join trump on the low road

I can't watch PBS anymore due to their commentary over news.

I used to love politics, and PBS was my most beloved source of information and insightful analysis. I found great joy, based on great reporting! The best. However, all of that is gone. Not sure why/ how, but all the joy is gone. I guess it is hard to be joyful when there is no balance in the reporting. I tried watching the RNC convention on PBS but could not quite get through it. Perfectly fine that some of your guests are unhappy, fearful, depressed based on everything is going on - absolutely no question. But where is the voice for people looking for balance, or those looking to hear from those that disagree with them? I can find them in the supermarket, but not on PBS?? Appreciate your input, as I am just very confused. Am I missing something? I have to say that I no longer watch the News Hour. There seems to be an intellectual honesty that is missing. This is not a Trump thing, this is really is a PBS thing. The great thing about independence, is you never have to worry about being someone's cheerleader. Seek truth and balance, and you earn everyone's respect. Best of luck to you guys!

I was shocked and angry when the coverage of Convention Day 4 ended abruptly in the middle of Joe Biden's speech. Of course, I switched to CNN to continue listening. I expect so much more from the organization I have listened to and supported for more than 40 years. Please provide an apology and explanation that will inspire me to continuing believing in and supporting PBS.
