The Mid-Level Gifts Manager will support Baltimore Public Media’s efforts to reach ambitious and transformative goals to sustain the growth of both WTMD 89.7 FM and WYPR 88.1 FM and broaden public radio programming in Maryland.


WUWM has the largest public radio newsroom in southeastern Wisconsin. Our radio market is Milwaukee – Racine (#42) In addition to covering the local issues that are most important to the community, WUWM’s news team runs special reporting initiatives on significant beats, including the environment, education, and race and ethnicity and 2024 has seen exceptional work on the RNC and election coverage.

The Member Services Associate will collaborate on executing and developing practices and workflows in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database that will support an exciting future for public broadcasting in Wisconsin. The Member Services Associate reports to the Member Services Manager and is part of the WPR Development Department.

KWBU’s Reporter will be the voice of Waco Public Radio for local news, feature stories and multimedia reporting - reporting 3 to 5 timely local news stories per week.

 

Journalism experience is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in broadcast journalism and familiarity with NPR style reporting. Familiarity with station operations, procedures and automation is a plus.

 


WYPR 88.1 FM is Baltimore’s NPR radio station is looking for a Morning Edition News Host who will guide listeners through daily news programming in ways that are listener-focused, engaging, personable, and timely. They will be good company, an engaging guide, and let listeners know what’s happening each day in Baltimore and the world.


We'd like to hire a reporter with two years of experience in radio news with a broad background and knowledge of public radio journalism, audio storytelling and audio
production. They should have a demonstrated level of NPR quality writing, reporting, announcing and production skills (with examples). Conversational on-air delivery and knowledge of, or desire to learn, best
practices in board operator skills. Team player with willingness to train others. Computer literacy. Knowledge of appropriate digital editing programs and file sharing
