JOB SUMMARY
The Program Advisor at Radio K - Real College Radio (KUOM) will be responsible to drive creation and implementation of Real College Radio student-run programming, lead and mentor students in an experiential learning environment, supervise student staff, and serve as a representative of Radio K to the University of Minnesota and larger community. The Program Advisor reports to the Radio K Director within the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota.

We’re looking for an experienced, creative program director to grow our audience by integrating Public Radio’s best programming practices and can develop individual programs produced to system standards. The program director must be able to determine what songs and programs serve the audience.


KOTO Radio, a noncommercial, non-underwritten community radio station in the beautiful San Juan mountains of Southwest Colorado is hiring a part-time reporter. This person will contribute to daily news coverage and public affairs programming and will focus primarily on covering news in rural communities in the greater Telluride region. The responsibilities of this position include pitching news stories, pursuing news tips and leads, writing scripts and producing content for both on-air and online platforms. Journalism background or experience covering community news is preferred.


KCUR 89.3 is seeking a Political Reporter to join the Kansas News Service, a reporting collaboration of public media stations throughout Kansas.

In this position, the reporter will be covering campaigns and politics, producing in-depth features on the power dynamics across the state and working with the Statehouse reporter to cover the Kansas Legislature for the KNS. This content will range from short on-air newscast stories and longer features to digital content.
