JOB SUMMARY The Development Director (DD) at KSJD and the Sunflower Theatre will spearhead development efforts as KSJD continues to grow. The DD is responsible for all of the revenue streams, which allow KSJD to achieve its mission and maximize its impact in the community. The DD is tasked with planning and organizing fundraising activities, managing the development budget, and assembling professional and volunteer team members to optimize relationships with members, major donors, funders, and the community.

JOB PURPOSE:


WTJU Radio is looking for an experienced Business Support Account Executive to lead our Business Support department. WTJU has handled sales internally for several years and has a steady group of sponsors. The addition of this full-time position represents a desire to grow our Business Support department.

Under the supervision of the Senior Editor, the Podcast Producer will create sound-rich audio narratives that will help listeners better understand their world through perspectives that illuminate, intrigue and surprise.


NoteWorthy is a multi-pronged, multi-platform initiative from WDAV Classical Public Radio which explores and showcases the work of artists who have been historically underrepresented in classical music. NoteWorthy focuses on the artistry of people of color, women, and others from marginalized and overlooked groups. We are looking for a host/producer for NoteWorthy audio modules which will be produced for radio broadcast and as a podcast. They will be developed looking toward possible future syndication.

We are on a dynamic path of growth and change, having recently transitioned from university to community ownership. On the air since 1958, we’re a funky, hybrid format, with independent news and music.


KMUW and the Kansas News Service are looking for a full-time health care reporter to join our award-winning team. This reporter would support our mission by focusing on health, the social determinants of health and their connection to public policy. That could mean reporting on everything from the latest COVID-19 news to what effect climate change will have on our health. It also could include the consumer side of health care, the latest medical developments, public policy decisions influencing health care and examining health equity disparities across Kansas.


KERA, the public broadcasting organization for North Texas is hiring a News Editor to define the daily news agenda with passion, creativity, urgency and immediacy. This person will lead a team and set the tone for our newsroom’s priorities each day and play a key role in developing and executing initiatives to grow, diversify and engage our audiences across platforms.
