Responsibilities/Duties

  • Provides weeknight/weekend on-air Announcing duties: includes all selection of classical music programming, also acts as master control operator during shifts
  • Lead fill-in for other hosts during vacation, holiday, and illness
  • Assists with the maintenance of the CD Library and associated software
  • Contributes to and helps manage the stations social media presence
  • Conducts, edits and produces taped interviews
  • Represents WBJC outside the station, including appearances at special events

The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for the full array of accounting, financial, and budgeting activities for KCUR 89.3. As such, this position partners with KCUR’s unit leadership to formulate budgets, develop financial plans, and monitor financial performance.  This position is an important liaison between central finance and unit leadership and is critical to the successful implementation of financial strategies and performance.


This Gift Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of WAMU donor transaction information in WAMU’s customer relationship management system (CRM).    The Gift Specialist organizes and prepares all gift transaction information (received via bank file upload, call center file, or mail)  for data entry into the donor database. This position works with other staff members collecting required for accurate financial data entry and the processing of gift receipts and acknowledgement letters.

KJZZ is looking for an experienced radio host for NPR's All Things Considered on weekday afternoons.

The host is the drive-time companion for thousands of afternoon commuters across the fifth largest metro area in the country.

The host writes, edits and produces content. Candidate should have experience operating an audio board and using digital editing software in delivering live and recorded news and feature content.
