Working with the Board, the CEO provides overall leadership to ensure Valley PBS’s successful execution of its mission: “Valley PBS enriches, educates and strengthens our diverse Valley community through the power of public service media.”

FRONTLINE is PBS’s flagship investigative documentary series, exploring the issues of our time through journalism that speaks truth to power.

Today our dedicated cadre of reporters, producers and digital makers report across platforms — from our documentaries to transmedia projects. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Marketing and Communications has primary responsibility for increasing awareness and viewership of SOPBS programs and services, and recognition that SOPBS is deserving of financial support. This will be accomplished through marketing activities that build the SOPBS brand, mission, content and community services.

Reports to: CEO
Hours: Full-time, exempt position. Occasional evening and weekend hours required.

Manage Cascade PBS assets, prepare accurate financial statements and required regulatory reports, supervise accounting staff and annual audit to build a strong organization and inspire a smarter world while demonstrating Cascade PBS’s values of integrity, community, innovation, and diversity.


 

Station Manager

KSMQ Public Television is a non-profit public media broadcaster that provides essential media content and other services to over 700,000 residents in 22 counties in southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa and we are seeking a Station Manager!

 


DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Technology supports a diverse community of GBH’ers working in Broadcasting, Content Creation, Education, Digital, Assistive Technologies, Local News and Administrative roles.  Roughly 40 staff members work in 6 teams within the department, and the team is committed to creative problem-solving and respectful candor.  We like to build, improve, launch, automate, and repair.
