RNC Convention

I am a viewer in Tuscon, Arizona. I would like to leave a comment about Judy Woodruff and her coverage of the convention. She is not giving us a chance to actually watch the convention. I'd like to express that a concern. It seems a little biased to me.

PBS NewsHour

Judy Woodruff does not invite any Republicans on her show, does she? I have watched her for years. She is not a genuine reporter. If you keep continuing this crap I am going to stop listening.

RNC Convention

I was very unhappy with the coverage of the RNC as well as the DNC. We do not need a panel discussion and comments after every speaker. I would like something that just had the information and let us figure it out. For public broadcasting to manipulate the content by having the discussion and not having more content. Some of those speakers we did not get to see. I had to go to other links in order to try to ascertain that coverage. For me a public broadcasting system should be able to do that, especially for something like the RNC or the DNC.

RNC Convention

I was curious about the fact check between the coverage of DNC convention compared to the RNC. I don't feel that it is necessary for a panel discussion and to tear each speech down after they are presented. I would like to see the unadulterated whole content of a convention without some perspective of a commentator. I thought that public broadcasting was to bring the information and let people make up their mind. I do not like the panel discussions after. Just let us view the content of the speeches and let us make up our minds of how we feel.

PBS Editorial

I am sitting here in my living room in Memphis, Tennessee and watching the PBS news that is on tonight. If this is a public broadcasting station, why are you being political? Why are you being political and rallying around the Democrats. You need to get off the air. Stop lying. You are not a public broadcasting station.

Republican National Convention

I have been a supporter financially for my local PBS station for decades. I find your lack of coverage this evening of the Republican National Convention so offensive that I will never give you another dime and I will fight to get you defunded.

PBS Editorial

I am a moderate republican. I have in the past been a supporter of PBS until you became political. I can tolerate debates about ideas, ideology and other public views. I do views taking a political position and being critical of a person in a wheel chair, regardless of political views as a cheap and undignified criticism of anyone. I know you are a liberal organization and as such will act accordingly but you truly should as an organization reevaluate your standards. I no longer contribute. I found your values long ago did not align with mine.

The News Hour

The News Hour has become increasingly partisan in tone. Yamiche Alcindor might as well be on MSNBC. Her tweet on Madison Cawthorn was unprofessional and uncalled for. Viewers do not need her to tell them what and how to think about something they can see and hear for themselves. I have written my representatives urging that the CPB be defunded. I’m sure you will survive just fine without taxpayer subsidies

Biased coverage of RNC by NPR/newshour

There should be balanced coverage. I’m tired of the Trump hate train paraded on these publicly funded shows. Most of the reporting only speaks in negative terms regarding Trump and this administration. Any positive news is spoken of with an immediate negative spin that is opinion based on the bias of the reporter or guest panelist. Regardless of political ideology you should have balanced non opinion reporting of the news. You are forcing people that are seeking news of The day or week to go elsewhere for Information. Please stop the biased reporting

Coverage of 2020 Republican National Convention

I chose to watch the PBS coverage because I was hoping it would not be biased. I was mistaken. It was overwhelmingly critical of Trump and biased toward Democrats. So disappointed. Can we trust any media outlet to be fair.
