new newscaster

The woman who has recently delivered the news in the last week or so drones and is boring to listen to. Also, why does Judy move her hands so much? It is distracting and needs to be off video if she can't control it.

Democratic National Convention Coverage

I happen to be watching the Democratic National Convention on PBS this evening, the third night, and I see Mark Shields go into this diatribe about George Floyd being killed by a white person. George Floyd's family said that it was personal, that he didn't get along with the officer - Chauvin. Apparently, Chauvin worked as a bouncer at a bar for twenty years and George Floyd was also hired as a bouncer of the bar or club. It could have been that Chauvin was caught dealing drugs or shaking down somebody or that George Floyd was wanting in on his side gig.

Niall Ferguson's Networld

Is this series going to resume with a Season 2 and future Episodes?

Ferguson is doing PBS and We the People a great service by raising our awareness of where the U.S. stands in the global usage of Artificial Intelligence. My congratulations to Mr. Ferguson. He should be familiar with the book, BetweenBrAIns by Omar Hatamleh and George Tilesch. The two of them complement each other fabulously.

Mr. Tilesch has just returned from Europe and I’m sure Mr. Ferguson will be most interested in talking with him about AI, networks and citizen reaction to the new technology.

Democratic National Convention Coverage

I was shocked and angry when the coverage of Convention Day 4 ended abruptly in the middle of Joe Biden's speech. Of course, I switched to CNN to continue listening. I expect so much more from the organization I have listened to and supported for more than 40 years. Please provide an apology and explanation that will inspire me to continuing believing in and supporting PBS.

Democratic National Convention Coverage (specifically night of 8/19/20)

I enjoy watching the PBS newshour regularly. Judy's coverage on 8/19/20 was poor -- we need less talking heads (panel of experts!) and more uninterrupted coverage of the convention. She continued to interview PBS talking heads throughout the night rather than show the audience what was happening at the convention. During performances, videos, etc. -- your coverage was more about PBS than the democratic convention. Please reconsider -- I don't care what talking heads have to say until the end of the evening!

The PBS News Hour - Complaint

In previous years I have always tuned to The PBS News Hour to find unbiased political news because I understood that CNN and Fox had political agendas. Unfortunately, in recent years I have been very disappointed in PBS' political coverage. There seems to be very little balanced reporting. All the political coverage stories seem slanted to the Democratic narrative. I no longer watch The PBS News Hour due to the unbalanced viewpoints and obvious lack of coverage of damage and crime happening in many of America's cities.

Democratic convention 2020

Why buskirk the Fox News commentator on the program tonight and why is he given time for his opinion rather than the actual program. If I want to watch news I can choose to do so. I don’t appreciate on PBS that I hope I can hold in esteem tomorrow if not today.

PBS Newshour

Ladies and Gentlemen, PBS Newshour is awesome in reporting. I love to watch it via YouTube, because I live abroad Sincerely yours, Ivo Sesnic

Democratic Convention: Freedom on Disp[ay

I was saddened to watch PBS last night, well after the Demo convention started. And all I saw was your tallking heads. Reminds me of watching a basketball game and having talking total nonsense, and making it very obvious they are not even watching the game. That what I saw last evening. Your talking heads are as dumb as the rest of us, but paid more. I find them uninteresting, aged and tired. We need to have a public broadcast system that just shows the news, and does not bend the forces of the monied class. You always state that the BBC is your model. However that media is also nonsense.

Disappointed

Too many talking heads. Missed farmer and young woman's stories. Woodruff too much talking. Not about her. Switched to CNN.
