All comments are available on this website to be viewed by the general public. Each year, by statute, CPB transmits this public link to the White House for its report to Congress. Additionally, comments pertaining to programming are shared with the CPB Board of Directors and relevant public media staff.
I haven't had a working television since the switch to HD in 2009 or so. I try to watch PBS' live stream, but it constantly stops. If I reload the page, I miss parts of the show, but sometimes it won't restart itself, so I have to reload the page.
Perhaps PBS needs a name change, since it really isn't a public broadcast anymore.
There was a short segment on St. Nicholas on Ch. 25 in New York @7am today. It came on after the broadcast of the exercise show Sit and Be Fit and I found it objectionable as a Catholic. In trying to separate the history of the (Turkish) Bishop St. Nicholas from the commercial Santa Claus it was disrespectful in portraying him as a tyrant. And when discussing how Amercans perceive him, it stated "America was too late for the whole saint thing." The graphics were also derogatory. Please stop attacking Christianity. Thank you.
We respect Judy Woodruff tremendously, but her dour tone and political bias toward minorities is becoming monotonous on a daily basis. Stephanie Tsai asks better questions and Amna Navazz is very good as a regular host. Please let her retire gracefully from the nightly desk and concentrate on special pieces.
Why is PBS/NPR paying BBC? Why did BBC have Alan Dershowitz on commenting on conviction of Ghislaine Max (https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-59828961)? Not even Sky (no) News had Dershowitz on, but BBC did! Why the Corp. for Public paying BBC (https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/19/bbc-strikes-deal-with-pbs-to-create-factual-programmes)?

I am very unhappy with the changes that have been made on NPR and my station WHYY. I liked the professionalism of the past announcers. WHYY has new people all day who treat us like we want to be all familiar and folksy. I am all for change if the integrity of the station is not compromised. I am missing David Green and Noel King.
We are very attached to a number of your weekly programs. What we can't understand is why, when you are doing your semi-annual fund drives, you take the programs we look forward to off the air and put paid infomercials on worthless, uninteresting subjects like dieting, health, and finances that go on forever! All it does is turn us off to yourfundraising and we go elsewhere until the fund raising is over.
The volume on PBS evening news is very poor, especially when compared to other pbs programs and or other networks. Judy Woodward in particular is often barely audible. Is there diff we're rent audio equipment for pbs evening news? Have you recieved any similar comments? This has been th he case for at least 2 yrs. Thank you Victor C

The second largest cost of BBB is the DALT provision. PBS Newshour appears to intentionally avoid talking about SALT to sell the bill to the public. PBS can’t use public money to advance socialist agenda. There are to many critical thinkers and please stop insulting our intelligence.
We’re really not enjoying Gary Abernathy as the excellent Jonathan Capehart’s commentary partner. For example, using Democrat Party instead of Democratic is both childish and provocative, as his is smirking. Surely you can do better.
When I was young, shows on PBS were free. Now, in order to watch most of your programming, I must pay a couple hundred dollars per year to become a member. So in effect, you have become a very expensive pay channel. Why the change in policy?
Nawaz is a terrible wanna-be-anchor whose staccato, machine gun delivery is at least off-putting and disrupts the kind of calm insight Woodruff has brought for years. If Nawaz takes Judy's seat you have lost my viewership and membership as well as those of my circle of friends who share my dislike. I am amazed that someone hasn't taken her aside and retrained her from her network supercharged delivery--she bounces in her seat!!. I would appreciate a response as I have written you all several times and have received NADA.
Why is EASTENDERS being cancelled, on December 11,2021,in the United States.?
For the first time, I saw an episode of Molly of Denali the other night with my 7 year old. I was absolutely appalled at the blatant racism in that episode. An episode meant to "teach" children not to stereotype and make condescending comments toward a race did exactly that. If the way we teach children to be less racist is to teach stereotyping, then I'm confused as to how you think this kind of programming is working.
So let me explain what I saw. Two ultra white guys come in, known as "the Tourists" and suddenly they're making comments to the kids about not looking very native, suggesting that they should have native clothing on and in a round about way questioning whether the mom as a woman is capable of flying them around on a touring trip. At the end of the show, the white guys apologize. Now anyone with half an understanding of racism sees that this is the narrative constantly being painted by the media. Get the white guy to apologize. They're ignorant.
But let me ask a question, what happens to kids who have a native mom and a white dad? Are they to be ashamed of their white dad? I mean he must not be so racist to have married a native women? Have you thought about the psychology around this in terms of how confusing this can be to a mixed race child? Are they supposed to pick a side? This is wrong on so many levels.
Secondly, could two black Americans not have walked in and been equally as "ignorant" as these white guys? Are you assuming that every other race besides white guys would be more "aware" and less "racist". You kid yourselves to think that all races don't stereotype. I've seen black Americans insult first generations Africans. Let's not put other races on a more racially aware pedestal.
I saw right through this episode. I explained to my children how racist this episode was and that it was the wrong way to teach appreciation for other cultures. Thank you for showing children exactly the fact that this is an agenda not laced in real concern for cultural appreciation. Thank you for making my kids feel like their daddy who has been many places in the world and has worked with many different cultures is a white male full of racist tendencies and uncertain of how to respect other cultures.
Good job on furthering the racist divide.
I would love to hear from someone on this because this is very damaging psychology laced in a cutesy children's program.

November 2021 To whom it may concern, I am so sad that Eastenders will no longer be airing on PBS/TPT Channel 2. I stared watching in 1985 and have been ever since. I was 17 at the time and helped to fill a void in my life, that was 36 years ago. As I got older I supported Eastenders monetarily when I was able to do so. I know it is just a TV show, but the characters and re-ocurring cast members have been like 'family' and in a sense some of them I have grown up with, mourned the death of characters both on the show in real life ....and been joyful with their accpmlishments too. All good things come to end I guess, and this is just another one of those things in life that is ending. I will truly miss the story....and to all the actors and characters of Eastenders that have been so much a part of my life for so long, I wish you all well in the rest of your journeys, sadly I will not be able to follow yours....... I'd like to know the names of the two pledge drive hosts during "Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age" on WTTW in Chicago.
The results of the election in Virginia and President Biden's sinking poll numbers are indicators of what the electorate not only feel about the Biden agenda, but the whole campaign in the media to cancel any alternative perspectives on the important issues facing voters. People want The McNeil Lehrer Newshour brought back. I fondly remember The PBS Newshour with McNeil/Lehrer. The best part of the program were the lively debates moderated by both of the two hosts, as well as Judy Woodruff herself. Sadly, Judy does not seem to have been positively influenced, as evidenced by the one sided biased reporting dominating the program 99.9%. Woodruff stifles debate and seems to have an anti Male agenda. Is she allergic to heterosexual males, sure seems that way to me. I guess woodruff does not believe men count for much anymore in the so called "me too" generation, AKA a Blood Libel.
There is no reforming this bunch. I object to any public funds going to this program, with all due respect.
