Washington Week

Some of the reporters on Washington Week refuse to call Trump by his name, instead using the euphemism, “the former president”. If I didn’t know any better, I might think they were referring to Jimmy Carter.

NPR Sundays

I must agree with the multiple comments above about Ms Rascoe’s voice. It is grating and ultimately unlistenable. Sundays were always my favorite day to relax and listen to NPR. Since Ms. Rascoe took over the reins I have tried to listen but gave up each time. It is downright unpleasant. Maybe it’s time to listen to the listeners. Perhaps it’s time to put the “P” back in NPR and find a replacement for squawky slangster and give us back our treasured Sundays.

Coverage of the Gaza/Israeli war.

I'm in VA and am a member of VPM. I watch the NewsHour every evening. I can't thank you enough for that coverage. It's thorough and graphic and upsetting....BUT it's so important that the viewers get the unedited version of that war -- everyone in the US needs to see it. Thanks for your bravery and integrity and creative!!! P******a B**l, Staunton, VA

PBS NewsHour Anti-Israel Bias

Has PBS NewsHour abandoned any pretense to objectivity? Your opening segment on December 18th about the Israel-Hamas war featured Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta, a physician who has propagated the outrageous libel that "Israel aims to clear Gaza of its population" and "to ethnically cleanse Gaza". During your segment, Dr. Sitta charges the IDF with "waging a war on children". And when confronted with video substantiating the weapons cache that Hamas secreted at Al-Shifa hospital, Dr Abu Sitta ascribes it to the arms that patients shed before entering MRI tubes.

PBS NewsHour

Reporters on the PBS NewsHour repeatedly say by rote that there is no evidence that Biden committed an impeachable offense. They pretend to be unaware of the video where VP Biden brags to Richard Haas how in March 2016 he threatened the Ukraine president with withdrawing a billion dollars in aid unless they fired Burisma prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Burisma paid off Hunter Biden, who admitted he was a disturbed drug addict and knew nothing about the oil business. Why do the reporters pretend to know less than their viewers? Why does PBS put up with such an embarrassment?

Amna Nawaz

Please talk slower. Thoroughly enjoy watching you and Geoff in PBS

Washington Week

Since the Atlantic took over I find the show completely irritating. The moderator dominates, which changes the ethos of the show completely, so it feels like an opportunity for an ego driven white man to dominate. The show has few vibrant young people and almost no African Americans. It used be energetically lively and full of multiple perspectives emanating from a diverse group of young reporters. Now it is stodgy and dominated by the moderator’s perspective

Jeffrey Goldberg

I love his leadership on Washington Week with the Atlantic. He has brilliant panelists and asks deep and thoughtful discussions that provoke and challenge my thoughts and views. He elevates the quality and intelligence of the program and I feel massively smarter watching him.

PBS Newshour

Amna Nawaz doesn't even try to be objective. She is obnoxious, interrupts people she is interviewing and is the most unpleasant and biased news reporter on your otherwise excellent group of reporters. I have reluctantly stopped watching altho I sometimes cheat on Friday night but only to watch David Brooks and Jonathan Capehart. I have been watching since the days of Gwen Eiffel (Spelling?) and sadly the program is now just a disappointment solely because of Ms. Nawaz.

News coverage of UN Secretary General Guterres' use of Article 99 on 12/7/23

I watched the television Newshour coverage of Secretary Guterres' use of Article 99 to bring the matter of humanitarian crisis in Gaza before the United Nations Security Council. The NewsHour failed to provide sufficient context and certainly did not provide all the facts of the story itself. The NewsHour coverage failed to live up to its own standard for accuracy.
