CPB seeks proposals from public media organizations to participate in a nationwide grant project that will build on public media's strengths to meet the emerging needs of veterans in local communities. Through this project, stations will work with key partner organizations to recognize veterans' service and share their stories, opportunities, and challenges through national and local content, and increase the number of veterans connecting with local resources to support their successful transition to civilian life. CPB expects to fund up to 12 stations at $25,000 per grant.

Eligibility: Any public radio or television station or joint licensee that receives a CPB Community Service Grant (CSG). Successful applicants will be noncommercial public radio stations that provide significant public service programming to their communities. Stations selected to enter the Community Service Grant (CSG) program during CPB's FY2013 will need to meet all of the criteria outlined in the FY2013 Radio General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria (General Provisions).

American Graduate: Let's Make it Happen ("American Graduate") is a multi-year public media initiative, supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), to assist public media television and radio stations and national public media and paratner organizations in identifying and implementing solutions to address the high school dropout crisis in their local communities, encouraging students to finish high school and reinforcing the importance of education beyond high school. CPB seeks to support the efforts of small groups of news-oriented public radio stations working collaboratively to produce original reporting around important topics, known as "beats" or "content verticals." The two-year grants are intended to support station-based journalism that will increase the range of perspectives heard locally, regionally, and nationally, by adding more points of view from across the country, and expand the conversation on important topics. Each Partnership will need to work closely with national editors at NPR, PRI and APM to contribute original reporting on their chosen "beat" to the national newsmagazine programs.

Eligibility: Any qualified person or entity may apply. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting ("CPB") is seeking proposals to conduct moderated online focus groups over the next year. Each focus group is expected to require multiple sessions. The consultant must design the focus groups in order to gather the thoughts, opinions, knowledge and beliefs of a number of leaders throughout public media on critical issues facing public media, as well as the impact, success, strengths and challenges facing specific projects funded in whole or in part by CPB.

CPB is seeking proposals from vendors to create a customized grants management system to address all aspects of grants management from grant inception, grant award, and post award. The new system is to be built using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and provided as a "turn-key" work-for-hire solution, supported by CPB in-house Information Technology Department. The system must be easily managed and scalable and designed to integrate with CPBs existing investments in Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft SharePoint.

Eligibility: Any qualified entity may apply. This program will assist eligible public TV stations with grants to pay for equipment or fees that are required to participate in existing multi-station master control projects. CPB will provide grants of up to 50% of total project costs for eligible budget items up to $50,000. Priority for grant support will be given to stations that are likely to encounter difficulty in securing capital equipment funding (based on market size, type of service, location or other circumstance), with the highest priority among these being rural stations. Please also note that priority will be given to grantees that plan to participate in multi-station master control projects that are currently operated by public television stations and organizations.

Eligibility: CSG-eligible TV stations who meet additional eligibility criteria. CPB has set aside $500,000 of the remaining Digital appropriation funds to provide emergency financial assistance to rural, economically-challenged public TV and radio stations to purchase and install digital master control room and/or transmission equipment that has been damaged or destroyed as a result of a natural or man-made disaster or act of terrorism.
